Anytime fitness opened a new gym in Singapore
Hastings, MN-Fitness club franchise anytime fitness has opened its first gym in Singapore.
The move brings to about 2,300 the number of centers of the Minnesota-based company operates in 16 countries. The first gym anytime fitness in Asia opened in Japan in 2010.
At present, there are about 30 anytime Fitness in Japan and more than 400 clubs outside the United States. Anytime Fitness has opened in Singapore with 200 members who joined during a “pre-sale”.
Several additional sites are under development in Singapore, while it is expected that the first location to open in Hong Kong later this year.
The company plans to open about 100 gyms in Singapore and Hong Kong in the years to come.
Specific locations include community club where there is a market for a fitness club at any time, but where there are health clubs and gyms are now.
Similar to anytime Fitness in the United States, Gyms in Singapore and Hong Kong will cover approximately 4,000 square meters, offer a wide variety of teams cardio and weight machines, and will be accessible to members 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
According to the website of the company, membership in a club is a member of each of the fitness centers, the company operates in 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Ireland, Great Cayman, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Qatar, India, Chile, Japan and now Singapore.
